How Long Is The Navi River Journey Ride?


The Na’vi River Journey attraction is located in Pandora u2013 The World of Avatar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and takes guests on a journey down a gentle, mysterious river hidden within the sacred bioluminescent rainforest in search of the Na’vi Shaman of Songs.


The Na’vi, Pandora’s indigenous people, crafted a towering totem that invites visitors to explore the grottos that lead to the mystical river. The journey culminates in an encounter with Shaman of Songs, who stands nearly 10 feet tall.


This is a Tier 1 FastPass attraction with lines ranging from 45 to 70 minutes. Ride vehicles are 8-person reed boats with two rows per boat. Height Requirement: None. Accessibility: Must Transfer from Wheelchair/ECV, Audio Description and Handheld Captioning are available.


ACE assembled the rafts using Na’vi techniques and used Disney technology to create a queue structure for the Navi River Journey, which is managed by Alpha Centauri Expeditions (ACE), the eco-tour company that brings humans to Pandora.

Is the Navi river ride worth it?

It’s a fantastic ride, and it’s truly magical to ride through, but it’s just a boat ride through the Na’vi river, and it’s not even close to Pirates of the Caribbean or Frozen in my opinion. Worth it if you can get a fast pass.
