The ride also includes a lecture by Professor Binns and Harry, Ron, and Hermione, as well as special effects such as falling snow, to give visitors a tour of the castle.
Dementors from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets appear in a mock-up of Hogwarts, flying over Black Lake, back into Hogwarts, and through the Main Hall and Moving Staircase.
Professor Dumbledore sends everyone back to the Room of Requirement via the Floo Network, warning the riders not to forget to pick up their belongings or they will be confiscated by Argus Filch.
