That includes things like your airfare, rental car, lodging, meals (yes – even meals!), parking, taxi fares, and all other travel-related costs you incur during a TDY (and a PCS, if your Component permits).
What can I use my government travel card for?
Do use your travel card to pay for authorized expenses on official travel orders. Do remember your travel card has a charge limit for food and automatic teller machine (ATM) withdrawals. Do obtain cash advances for official travel through an ATM only when authorized.
Can I use my personal credit card for government travel?
USE YOUR GOVERNMENT CREDIT CARD FOR OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT TRAVEL ONLY! DO NOT PAY with cash or personal credit cards for airfare or rental car. You WILL NOT be reimbursed if you use your personal ATM card. You need to provide ATM receipt.
Can I use my government travel card for alcohol?
Generally, employees may not use a travel card to purchase alcoholic beverages unless they are incident to a meal.
Can you use your GTCC for PCS move?
The GTCC will be used for all PCS official travel related expenses for the member and concurrently traveling dependents.
