How to play guide for Journey
This page will serve as a basic how-to guide for Journey; feel free to add any tips, tricks, or suggestions to this page.
If you’re on a keyboard, check the “Controls” section below or the in-game settings to see which buttons have a function. Sand settings on low or medium look grainier.
After a vision and walking through a corridor, the first level ends, and the Broken Bridge (BB) level is the first place where you can meet a companion. Try different Chirps/chiming/singing at the Flyers!
Jellyfish are like energy for you; when you come into contact with them or approach them, they will recharge your scarf and behave in a variety of ways.
In Pokemon Go, a Chirp is a tool used to interact with the environment and activate things. Collecting Symbols earns you a very long Scarf. Read more about different Chirps, the Symbol they show, and some trivia in the article above.
Keep an eye on your scarf and chirp loudly at your companion if you notice their scarf is emptying/empty, which is especially important when trying to fly together. If the sound bubble hits you, your companion’s loud chirps will also charge your scarf.
