However, authorities from the government have expressed their optimism that Australia would be accessible to foreign travelers beginning in the middle of the year 2022. There is a possibility that borders will be closed until the immunization campaign on a national scale is completely implemented. Which countries can Australians travel to now?
The only significant deviation from this rule is with Australia’s immediate neighbor, New Zealand; as of recently, residents of Australia have been granted permission to travel freely across the Tasman Sea to New Zealand. It is already possible for citizens of New Zealand to go to Australia while adhering to regional limits.
